Kids say the darndest things!

Just about every day Walker learns some new phrase! He has been saying some pretty funny things lately. "Absolutely not", "certainly", "'preciate it", "of course", "I 'cited" (excited), "didn't mean to", "still working on it", "better hurry", and "what a mess!" are just a few. It is not always apparent where he picks up these phrases, but when he says, "load the bullets, pull the trigger and shoot the gun", it is quite obvious where he has heard it. In case some of you don't know Chandler; it's from him!:) I am not always thrilled with the choice of phrases, but after each meal before he gets out of his chair, he will say, "tank you for food, may i pease be ecused"; (one that he has picked up from his cousins) - with this I am well pleased. Other times when he says,"I Sare (share) with Will (mind you this is only when Will has a toy that he wants, not vise-versa)- I am not as impressed:)
Will has even started saying some words! He has been saying momma and dada for a while, but now he is starting to say nigh-nigh (for night-night) when he is about to go to bed. He also is saying bye-bye, and making the "puh-puh" sound for please. Sometimes he nods his head for thank-you (i guess it is his own sign language). I can't believe how fast he is growing up!

I am blog surfing to find mothers to contribute to a new e-magazine that I am developing called Mother to Mother. Go to http://www.motheroftwosguide.com/contribute.shtml for details. We are always looking for new articles, photos, product testers, etc. I am a mother of two young boys as well - 6 and 2 year old.
