This is my absolute favorite time of day; between the hours of 2 and 5. The boys are sound asleep off in peaceful dreamland. It's the most satisfying feeling as a mom to know your children are fed, taken care of, and completely content tucked in their warm beds. I can relax knowing I have done my job. On top of that, I have a few hours to do things that I need to do for myself (most the time it consists of pilates, a shower!, a few chores around the house that are not ideal with little ones running around, talking on the phone, or whatever!) I know I am very lucky to have 2 boys who are extremely easy and will sleep for hours and at the same time! You have never met two little boys who love to sleep more than these! I don't know what I will do when the dreadful day comes when naps are a thing of the past, but for now I will enjoy this time to the utmost!
Is there anything more precious than sleeping babies (well, actually toddlers :-)....

No, no, no! They will always be babies!
Three hour naps!!
Thanks for smearing that in our faces. ;-)
There have been nights that it's taken us over an hour just to get them to stay in their beds and a two hour nap in our house is cause for some major celebrating.
You have the ideal children. Not only are they the cutest, they're also great sleepers! You got it good!
Ragan,
Thanks for stopping in on our blog and leaving us your address. Your boys are precious, and I am so glad that you have that three-hour block to yourself. :) Seeing your child asleep is such a satisfying feeling--I totally agree.
I hope that you and Chandler are doing well.

I get super excited when my kids all fall asleep in the same time period. It doesn't happen that often but when it does, I'm about ready to break out the champagne.
Their little faces are just beautiful! They look adorable when asleep.
Am I remembering correctly - didn't Walker just about never sleep during the day when he was a newborn? I guess maybe he's making up for lost time. Did Will do that too?
Yeah, he had typical newborn sleep issues (like many or actually most do), but ever since then he is so wonderful and easy; he sleeps so long and so hard! Surprisingly, Will never really did that, though.
Noah had a real hard time with naps too. I just thought that I got the baby that didn't like to take them. Now he's doing so much better and takes 3 naps a day! Plus he's slept over 8 eight hours the past 3 night, last night being 10!! I'm totally in love with this Baby Wise method!! By the way, your kids look so precious when they sleep. I think I might need to go and take a nap now.
