Rub-a-dub-dub; Their semiweekly fun in the tub!

Do any other moms give their kids a bath just a couple times a week? Maybe I'm a bad mother, but the boys only get bathed 2 (on a bad week) or 3 (on a good week) times per week. I just don't think they get that dirty, or maybe I just don't notice it :-) Also, I think it's something about blond-headed kids. I think just in general their hair doesn't look as dirty as it might really be. Who knows? Also, I've heard it's not as good for their skin and hair if you bathe them too much. Has anyone else heard that or know what I'm talking about? Well, even if it's only a few times a week, they absolutely LOVE their baths~they don't ever want to get out!

Thanks for the heads up, Jon! I looked it up on google and it said that "biweekly" could actually mean either twice a week or every two weeks. But I changed it anyway to avoid any confusion :-)

I try to at least bathe wilson on nights before he has to be somewhere in the morning, which is school 2 days a week and church on Sundays. However, I must admit I think it was Thursday morning before he had a bath last week! So, don't feel bad, your kids can't smell as bad as mine! I've tried to make myself believe it's better for their skin, but I think that really only applies to babies! Happy tub time!

I bathe Noah almost every night for two reasons. One because it calms him down and gives me an extra 15 minutes or so to hold him off on his last feeding of the night. And two because he spits up and it gets in his hair and makes it so dirty! There are some days that I just wash his hair over the sink, but he loves his baths and I also use that soothing soap that is supposed to help him sleep better at night. Cute pictures by the way, I love towel heads, so adorable:-)

Hollie, That's hilarious!

Lacey, I hear ya' about "calming them down"; I do feel a sense of accomplishment when they're all clean, smelling good, and sound asleep in peaceful dreaming!
