There's nothing like having your own precious children to inspire a desire for that perfect picture.
For those of you who know me at all and read my blog, you know that my interest in photography has been ever growing just as quickly as the boys. A couple of months back, I started a very preliminary, raw photo blog of some of my favorite shots. I've been toying with the idea of learning the more technical side of photography for quite a while now, but have been putting it off with the excuse that it just wasn't the right time. Well, there's no time like the present, right?
In addition, Chandler and I have been talking more seriously and saving up for a significant upgrade on our camera and some lenses for several months now. So, with the new camera in tote, learning how to utilize the camera's potential, my love for photography, and the anticipation of some of photography classes; I'll give it a go!
I have to say that I feel so blessed to have such a great friend to share this "hobby" with and watched it explode into an obsession with us! It's so nice to have someone who you're so close to with similar interests to bounce ideas off one another (whoever could I be referring to ;-)
I feel like there has been an explosion of an interest in this lately, but I can assure you that this has been a long time coming for each of us and not viewed by any as competition, and really is just coincidentally timing.
Unfortunately, all my family lives out of town so I haven't had as much "practice" as I would have liked; they make such great willing guinea pigs :-) But I have a couple of "shoots" in the works soon and am excited about getting started on this thing and seeing my potential with the new camera....!! I'm not going to give a plug just yet, but you apparently know where to find me if you're reading this;-)

You can tell that you are very talented and have a good eye for it already.You seem to be a natural. Your pictures are already really good, and I can't imagine how amazing they're going to be with your more professional camera. Good luck. I think you'll do great!
