The boys have been begging for one of those little baby pools, so I finally got around to picking one up for them on Saturday. Well, Chandler actually picked it up...he's got the truck. Unfortunately, Will was taking a nap during its breaking in. When he saw me editing the pictures of Walker playing in it, I think he felt a little betrayed. He just stared at the computer with this confused look on his face and then looked up with me those big 'ole eyes of his and said, "Walker in da pool?...where Will go? Will whim (swim) in da pool too!" It was pretty pitiful. I told him that we would play it in it tomorrow too. With a poked out lip and a deep breath to keep from crying, he reluctantly agreed ;)
Walker was so funny playing in that pool. You would have thought that we moved one of those huge water parks in our backyard the way he was acting and by the size of the smile on his face. I don't think it will ever cease to amaze me how such simple, seemingly small things bring the boys so much joy. I need to learn a lesson from them.
