Friday was Walker's first day of school! I know it sounds cliche, but it really seems like just yesterday, that I had two babies at home to take care of. What a switch from what I saw the other day; a beyond excited big boy grinning from ear to ear when it was time to put his backpack on. The backpack that he is wearing was Chandler's first backpack when he went to Kindergarten. I'm so thankful that his mom kept all of these important things so my boys can enjoy them too. It doesn't even matter that Walker has no idea who Gizmo is (from the Gremlins), but he just loves that backpack because it's the one his daddy wore and he wants to be "just like daddy!" I'm just so proud of my big boy. He has grown into such a tender hearted, vivacious, friendly, and smiley little boy. We feel so blessed that God has given him to us. What a precious gift he is!
