Ahhh.... Christmas time is always so busy. It's all so fun, though. Decorating, baking, , shopping, not to mention christmas cards!! I love Christmas cards. I don't know why I love them so much. I love sending mine and I love then getting all of my friends' cards in the mail. I love it all.
I've always loved Christmas, but when you have children it takes it to a whole new level. To see their reactions to it all is so awesome. Since I've seen and experienced all of it for 26 years, I forget that everything is new to them. The lights, the presents, the food..... and of course,Santa, or Noah as Walker calls him. He doesn't buy the whole Santa Clause thing. Chandler and I didn't know if we wanted to get into the whole Santa story/thing with him or not. So, we just asked him, "Walker,is Santa Clause real?" He answered without even batting an eye, "No, he's just pretend. Kinda like in a story." I guess this solves our dilemma. Since then, I've mentioned Santa and Santa bringing presents and so on. He just looks up at me with this smirk on his face and says, "Momma, you know Santa isn't real!" Oh wonderful, my son is going to be that kid who shatters his little friends' dreams and sends them home crying. Oh well, what can you do?
Between all of the craziness that is the holidays, I managed to put a montage together of what Christmas looks like over here!

It's so weird but I just got through taking pictures of all our decor to do a slide show. I come back to my room and check your blog and what do you know? You beat me to it. HA! Great mind think a like. ;-)
That is weird. But yet, not really. Because we are always are doing and thinking the exact same things!

I love your mantel! I think I'll have to have one installed by next year, so I can decorate it as well as you and Jen.
Any chance the Oswalts will be ringing in the new year in Monroe?

I hope we will be there for New Years. That's the plan in my mind. Chandler's family will be here then(but they will have been here for a while by that point)so I guess it will be his call. We'll see!
