We had a wonderful weekend in Monroe seeing friends. We had a couple of very late, but fun nights of hanging out, a great shower for Christin (where I played "The Price is Right), and the boys had a blast swimming and playing with friends. We ended the weekend there with a delicious and enjoyable lunch with the Hilekes Sunday after church.
On the way back to Clinton, we stopped in Delhi at a "safari park". As we pulled up, a lady was walking out with a baby kangaroo named Jack. He was so cute and the boys LOVED him! There was a petting zoo with a camel, ducks, chickens, goats, etc. and four fawns. There was also an alligator pond on the way into the park. There was a cute little gift shop where you can buy cups of feed for the animals on the ride through the park. On the ride, there were more camels, some wildebeests, all different kinds of deer, llama, zebra, cows, ostriches (to name a few). Needless to say, the boys had the time of their little lives! I would highly recommend it if you have children. Overall, I think it's well worth the time and money! I'll leave you with some pictures!
